When school is closed but work isn’t, Eleven Pop Up becomes your kid’s creative, supervised, screen-lite snow day plan—with real art instruction, cozy studio vibes, and projects they’ll actually be proud to bring home.
This program only runs on select school-closure days. When a Snow Day is announced, we’ll post that day’s session on our website so you can book online (limited spots).
Location: Eleven Pop Up — 520 E 11 Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067
Contact: info@elevenpopup.com | 248-824-4210

Fee schedule for early drops/late pickups: $10 for 1/2 hour, $20 for an hour before or after our regular schedule. (Anything 15 minutes or beyond is a full half hour charge).

What Kids Will Do
Every Snow Day has a fresh plan, but you can expect a mix of:
Clay + ceramics (guided, kid-friendly techniques)
Drawing / painting / mixed-media builds
Creative challenges, games, and mini “artist breaks”
A calm, structured day with lots of encouragement
Homework help and study time
What to Bring
Lunch (for full-day kids)
Snack + water bottle (everyone)
Comfortable clothes that can handle paint/clay (or bring an apron/smock)
If your child needs it: labeled medication + written instructions (hand to staff at check-in)
Food note: We strongly recommend packing nut-free when possible (shared studio environment).
Drop-Off / Pick-Up Rules
Drop-off is for booked campers only (we can’t accept walk-ins without registration).
Pick-up: An adult must sign out the child. Please ensure your pickup person is authorized.
Late drop-off/pickup disrupts class flow—please plan ahead.
Safety + Studio Materials Disclaimer
Eleven Pop Up is a working art studio. By registering, you acknowledge typical art-studio materials and risks (including dust/fumes from materials, and general activity risks) and agree to the studio’s liability terms.
Illness Policy: Please keep your child home if they have:
Fever in the last 24 hours
Vomiting/diarrhea in the last 24 hours
A clearly contagious illness

Return & Refund Policy
As we are a small and new boutique studio, solid bookings are key to our survival. Many supplies are purchased specifically for your class in advance to keep our shelves free for student work. Your purchase of these services acknowledges that you understand our policies.
Students may cancel up to one week in advance of class start time for a refund (minus a $15 cancellation fee). Cancels made within one week prior to the beginning of class results in a 50% studio credit toward future classes, up to 48 hours.
No refunds or credits are issued if you have to cancel within 48 hours before class start time, or should you miss a class or show up late.
Pickup of Finished Artwork
Easel & Wheel Art Space does not ship finished artwork, but the student/parent will be notified when the item is ready to be picked up and a pickup time is coordinated.
Ceramic projects with wet clay take time to dry; please allow a variable of 1 1/2 - 4 weeks (dependent upon kiln staging and dry time).
